A product of his photographic memory, this body of works depicts still lifes, human figures and animals in creative compositions and settings. From suggestive driftwood to perfect eggs floating in landscapes, Gordon Mitchell’s paintings transport conventional objects into imagined settings, shrouded in humour and fantasy.
