Nick Botting: Presence

Portland Gallery is delighted to showcase 'Presence' an exhibition of recent paintings by Nick Botting. 

The exhibition contains over 60 recent works that transport us from idyllic landscapes of Tresco and the sandy beaches of Cornwall to bustling scenes of London life. 

In Nick’s own words:

“My paintings are paintings stripped back to their bones – the subject and its artist – pictures that are a response to the fleeting world through the medium of paint on canvas. These paintings are about modern life, but are made in a very traditional way, using just paint and brushes from an easel placed in front of the subject.”
