Daisy Sims Hilditch: Into the Light

Daisy is a painter whose work encompasses a wide variety of subjects, including formal portraiture, still life and landscape painting. Underpinning all of her work is a practice involving direct observation from nature and a personal engagement with the subject. Studio painting is an important aspect of her work, but it is her ‘plein air’ painting which forms the focus of this exhibition, and indeed the core of our last successful exhibition in January 2022.
