Scenes including London's Covent Garden and Maida Vale (where the artist was raised), St Albans, Buckinghamshire, Essex and Sussex demonstrate the unequivocal fondness Collins had for British architecture and topography as well as his pure delight in the act of drawing. His remarkable skill with pencil and pen is shown in our selection of works, each executed with wonderful precision and considered detail of his surroundings.
